I’ve been seeing Dr. Bola for a while now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. He actually listens not the rushed “uh-huh, uh-huh” you usually get but real listening. He explains things clearly, takes his time, and makes you feel like your health actually matters to him. Appointments are organized, the staff is friendly, and the whole experience feels calm and professional. Anytime I’ve had a concern, Dr. Bola has been patient, thorough, and reassuring. You never feel judged or brushed off. If you’re looking for a doctor who knows his stuff, cares about his patients, and treats you with respect, I highly recommend Dr. Bola.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. There are plenty of walk-in clinics within a 5-minute drive. The staff here deserve one star — or half, if I could give it.
Dr. Bola is a great doctor but the practice itself is completely unorganized. It’s not a single incident…it’s systemic. I’ll update the review if they improve. Some insights: the lack of organization isn’t due to them being busy. They can’t explain basic process because there is none so patients and staff don’t know what is happening. First they claim they didn’t have my medical records…i called the Ontario Medical Association and they said they do indeed have my medical records. 3 calls to figure it out. I stayed away for a year until I couldn’t find anyone local to me so I’ve been driving 1.5 hours to get appointments. They lost forms Dr. Bola was supposed to complete…twice, because staff don’t communicate w each other. The same receptionist told me two contradictory processes for phone appointments in the same phone call…it took 30 minutes of holds and insistent questioning to figure out process. Mistakes happen but instead of being transparent they waste time not listening, making untrue excuses, and convincing you it’s your fault. They use a Gmail address for email so patient data goes to Google and is NOT private and has no security…Please spend the $200 a year for a small business private domain and secure Microsoft email. I do hope they sort out basic practice management as the staff and Dr. Bola are well intentioned.
No offence at all to the pharmacy people here, they are great and efficient. However, a complete 180 for the clinic as the process there is essential no process. Got blood work done here and was asked to discuss the results. They couldn’t discuss the results over the phone and I had to come before work, fine. They say it’s a 15-min wait which turned into a 40-min wait, also fine, I can wait. However what I couldn’t accept is all that wait was for the doctor to refer me to his student, and went ahead and spent another good 10-min to tell me there is nothing wrong with me. Even funnier, he wasn’t sure if he can make the call and went back to confirm with the doctor which then gave me the same comments. What a mess…… In summary, hope the owner sees this and commit to make some changes to the process here and until that happens, I don’t recommend going here for a visit if you actually have some work to do instead of wasting time for no reason.
The service totally deserves 1 star. The pharmacy was okay tho. The doctor was too. We waited for more than 1 hour and a man who arrived later than us by 20 minutes literally went in first. The counter said we would go in. Honestly, I would give the pharmacy a 3 star, and the doctor a 4 star. But the counter had problems. This clinic is actually okay because this is just my personal experience.
Dr. Olufunsho Owode is the only reason I go to this clinic. I waited 3 years for a family doctor and was so impressed with her exceptional knowledge and patience that I now travel 2 hours by public transit just to see her. Very thorough doctor.
I called in the morning to ask if the doctor was there, and they told me to come. When I arrived, they told me to wait. I waited for an hour and finally asked the receptionist if the doctor was coming or not. She responded with, ‘Let me ask him’—why are you asking now? Then, instead of an answer, she gave me another address and told me the doctor was there. What do you mean? This was a complete waste of time. I don’t understand how they can run a clinic like this. Totally irresponsible and dishonest.
