First time here - food is very good. You can find your typical HK gourmet cuisine done well. We ordered lobster 4 ways. It came with a steamed lobster, stir fried lobster in Maggi sauce, steamed egg and fried rice. We also supplemented with veggies, duck and fried chicken. Of course we had to try their sweet and sour pork. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Service on the other hand needs improvement. Our food took so long to come out. We literally sat for 40 minutes before the first dish came out. And they also gave us a dish that was meant for another table. Another thing worth noting is that the noise level is too high, almost unbearably so. Not sure if it’s the acoustics but everything is just amplified. Not conducive to easy conversations.
Celebrate pre mid Autumn festival with family members. These few days no normal menu and must order these special meal. That a long time see chinese chives(喬頭)for customers that was traditionally resturant service but most resturant forget it. For the food, I must say 5 star and the service also 5 star.They also have member systems, you can ask the servers about this.
Dim sum was good and a generous portion of fried rice was flavorful. Service is attentive. Bills over $100 are entitled to a 10% discount and tea service is free if you become a member( free of charge).
Starchiva Delight in Markham is a true standout for authentic Cantonese cuisine. The table d’hôte menu was excellent, with beautifully prepared lobsters and the classic 贵妃鸡 (Guifei Chicken) done perfectly. Their rendition of the famous 菠萝咕咾肉 (sweet and sour pork with pineapple) was one of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Service was quick, courteous, and attentive without being intrusive. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Cantonese cooking in Markham.
This place make me wonder if Hong Kong Chinese food really start from here? Also wonder if too many lobster around, so they ask everyone eat one lobster every week to help solve problem. Food taste good, waiter service is proper. If you no give tip when pay bill, maybe some bad luck will find you later. Remember only cash payment get real respect from people here.
Use GPS to locate the mall where the restaurant is. There is no such number on Bayview. The food is quite decent and the price is very affordable and competitive. Service is excellent, but it can get quite busy during lunch hours. Parking is not a problem, especially compared to other Chinese malls. A solid 4 star.
Food are nice, service is good, help us distribute the noodles and put the remaining in the take away box. Service charge only 12% qhich is vsry reasonable.
