I brought my motorcycle here for a safety. Very clean and organized shop. Even when the ministry gave me trouble they corrected the paper the same day. Older bikes have smaller vin numbers. RAF was my mechanic.? He did an amazing job.
I highly recommend this store . Ryan and Craig both are so honest. They repair only the parts which need to repair, not more . They Do NOT charge you more price than the repairing of your car need . Every time , I received my car on time with a very good condition and also very good price .
Do not go here unless you want to be scammed!! At the end of February, we booked for an oil change and they asked if we want to change our air filter as well so we said yes. Now in April, about a month later we went to another place to change our tires and they decided to check everything else while they were at it and told us and also showed us that the oil change wasn’t done - the oil was very low and they showed that our air filter was not changed as it was FILTHY and we were told it would have been impossible for it to get that dirty within the time we got it changed until now. We are appalled that any shop would charge for services that they didn’t do to their customers. There is no longer trust. This place does not deserve any business. Just horrible. Please save your money and go anywhere else.
The "SHORT VERSION"-paid for right and left front ball joints and control arms to be replaced. Got new control arms but ball joints were not replaced. The mechanic at Superior Tire left the old ones in. The car’s right front end collapsed 3 days later. Thank God it collapsed as I was pulling into my driveway and not on the highway. Result is...I have lost trust and will not return to Superior Tire & Auto! The "LONG VERSION"-I’ll try to stick to the facts and skip commentary on what was said in conversations with Ryan regarding this fiasco. -brought Corolla in for right and left ball joints on a Monday in October. The right front ball joint was diagnosed by Superior Tire & Auto, and they recommended I fix it sooner than later. I confirmed this diagnosis at another garage (Active Green and Ross). -decided to go with Superior Tire. The plan was to change both ball joints. I got a call from Ryan mid-day saying that I need control arms replaced on both sides as well. I said I thought they came together. He said no they are extra. He re-priced the service verbally on the phone and I agreed to the new price for right and left ball joints and control arms. -very shortly (1-1.5 hrs. before their closing time 5PM) Ryan calls again and says that I need a new front strut assembly as well. There was no mention of this in my previous service with Superior Tire when they "called" or diagnosed the ball joint and no mention of this in the Active Green and Ross report I got a week or 2 before. I said let’s just do the ball joints and the control arms and forget about the front strut. -we settle up payment and I pick up my car. -Thursday afternoon of the same week (3 days later) my wife and I are out in the car running a few errands. We pulled into our driveway. The car’s right front-end collapses. It just fails, breaks! It can’t be driven. -I call CAA. CAA guy shows up and asks me what the problem is. I tell him the right front just collapsed and I tell him that I just had the ball joints and control arms replaced on Monday. He says he had 15 yrs. experience running/managing a well-known garage in Richmond Hill. He says let’s hoist it up and take a look. We take a few pictures. He says my control arms are new, but the ball joints are old and rusty and definitely were not replaced. He adds the strut looks fine. -I call up Ryan. I tell him the ball joints were not replaced as per our work order. He says bring the car in...the work is under warranty. -I get the CAA guy to bring it to Superior on Thursday afternoon and it is left on the lot for Friday for repair. -Ryan calls me on Friday around noon and says the car is ready for pick up. -after work I pick up the car and we go to a private area to have a conversation. Ryan admits to the mistake and apologizes. I ask him for the ball joint. He gives it to me( the right ball joint). I drove away and then realized I didn’t get the other(left) ball joint. The job was for both ball joints to be replaced. I pull over and call him within a few minutes of leaving and ask him if the other ball joint was replaced. He tells me it wasn't and that he only thought of replacing the broken ball joint(right) and told me to bring it in again on Monday to get the other one replaced. I spend the whole weekend thinking that I better cut my losses and not go back. In the end I decide I paid for 2 ball joints and darn it I’m going to get my other ball joint. -I get my other ball joint replaced on Monday and ask for the replaced part again. He gives me the old (left) ball joint and I leave. I will never use this garage for service of my automobile again. Imagine that ball joint failed on the highway. I or my wife or my teenage daughter(or all of us) could have been seriously injured or been another traffic fatality statistic. I want to add that auto repair shops do VERY important work. Our lives often depend on the work they do. They have to get it right! Superior Tire didn't get it right.
The good: They ordered the Nitto NT555 G2 tires that a local superior tire wouldn’t. The staff were friendly and they were ridiculously accommodating, fitting me in on the fly 2 weeks ahead of the original booking date, which would have been may 13th. The bad: My brand new wheels came back scratched, one gouge, one damaged center cap assembly, and some stripped or broken allen bolts from other center cap assemblies. There was another issue with tpm codes conflicting with my ecu but my tuner shop resolved the issue so ill leave that as neutral. Disappointing though, the experience started off great, would have been 5 star easily if not for the damage. Full disclosure: I had a local shop put my old tires on these wheels the day they showed up (a week before I brought my car to superior) the center cap assemblies along with the hub centric rings had not showed up for the new wheels at this time due to a shipping hiccup. This local shop is a one man show, pretty new to the game and doesn’t have any pneumatic’s in shop and installed them onto my car with nylon sleeved sockets on hand tools, the scratches and gouge on the wheels did not come from that shop or else I’d be leaving the review on his page regardless of how bad it’d reflect on his new business. Will they own up and take responsibility? Or will it some how be my fault or the other shop. Guess we’ll find out.
Two excellent experiences at Superior Tire & Auto. I first visited for a basic tune-up of a recently purchased used vehicle. Service was prompt, courteous and done at a reasonable price. I visited again after servicing a recall at VW: while VW had recommended several repairs to the tune of over $3K, Ryan and team got the job done for less than half VW's price and threw in some extra maintenance (oil change, brake pad replacement) at no extra charge. In sum, Superior is that rare breed of auto shop that every driver looks for. Staff is honest, efficient and courteous. You will not be told to pay for unnecessary repairs, the price will be in line with the scope of work performed, and the job will be done within the estimated timeframe. There are several auto shops and tire sellers in the immediate vicinity of Superior Tire & Auto, but I strongly recommend that you save yourself the trouble of visiting those other outfits. Head straight to Superior, where integrity and value are not merely principles but rather routine practices.
Good service and the installation of the winter tires was easily managed by them. Quick to reply and they Rememver their customers so it adds to the overall personal experience. Their pricing was also better.
