My first appointment at Master Mechanic will not be my last! Manny was attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. My car was thoroughly checked, a verbal and written copy of the report was given to me. Service and future work explained clearly. I recommend Master Mechanic highly!
Do not trust those new guys there. They bought the franchise around January 2025. They don't know their job. Big liars. They misdiagnosed my car and made me pay over $1100. I brought the car there for coolant leak, they told me after it radiator needed to be changed. I left the car there for 2 days. When I came to pick it up around 5pm, the mechanic told me to come back in 1 week because " they needed to check something ". The next day morning 7AM I had the same coolant leak issue. Brought the car back and they now said it was heater core with hoses that needed to be changed for $1779. They lied to me twice about the identityof the mechanic that was working on my car and find excuses so I won't talk to him . They said the mechanic doesn't talk to customers, only the front desk guy does ( since when?). I brought the car to another MasterMechanic location ( that used to fix my car before I moved), they said if was the heater core hoses and I paid $1300 for the job. No issue since then. Don't bring your car here at this Richmond Hill location. They are not to be trusted at all and don't know much about luxury brand. $1100 WAISTED. Even a month before that, for my brake change, they over charged for brakes parts and had difficulties justifying price differences compare to previous franchise owner. NEVER AGAIN

We're told to hold on dearly to an honest and fair mechanic. I've found that at Richmond Hill's Master Mechanic. More than that, they're patient, kind and professional. They heard me out, gave me options and were willing to work on the price. They kept me updated, asked for approval on recommended work, sent professional, detailed photos and explanations of what they found and even brought my car to my driveway—since I live nearby (they can't do this for everyone every time, but this speaks to exceptional customer service). Excellent service delivered by Manny , and very polite staff and help me with my car issue and get that fixed. I Recommend everyone to get their car service done here. I came today again, 10 nov 2025, Manny did an amazing job fixing my car! He was professional, honest, and explained everything clearly. The repair was done quickly and my car runs perfectly now. Highly recommend him for anyone who needs reliable and quality service!
VENDORS BEWARE It's sad that I need to write a negative review, but this client has left me no choice. I have no idea about their workmanship when it comes to vehicles, but I do know how they treat their vendors. Work was requested and completed on Jun 27th of 2023 as their telephone system was offline. I went onsite and resolved the issue. I only billed for 1hr on site when in reality it was 1.5hrs. I decided to provide the client with a discount as they are a small business much like myself. Total invoice with tax $209.05 After months of chasing, received $100.00 via e-transfer from client on October 12th 2023, leaving a balance of $109.05. Client does not return emails or notices. Really people, you cannot afford the $109.05 You know where to contact me if you would like to settle your account.
On the website it say talk to Andrew & Arlene, At Master Mechanic Richmond Hill. Gave them a call to ask about extracting a broken lug nut. Reponse, we are closing soon, nobody here to ask. Really? called at 1, then close at 3. guess I'm not calling back to talk to andrew & arlene.
