Car enthusiasts beware; the Dodge Daytona on Younge St is not what it is advertised to be. It may be in good mechanical order but the body definitely does not match. I did not catch the name of the employee who we were speaking with but his attitude was very poor and very arrogant. My boyfriend had called saying that we were making an hour drive to come look at a specific car. When we arrived, he had asked if he could take the car for a test drive, to which he responded “only if you’re buying it”. To add, the ads clearly state that financing is available for the vehicle. Upon arrival however, we were told that it was NOT available and that it was cash only. Not a huge deal but extremely misleading. Do not waste your time.
Don't waste your time with Summit Auto Brokers. I already did, and now you don't have to! Shane does not seem to have any problems misrepresenting his vehicles both over the phone and to your face. He described the vehicle I was interested in as "1 owner, mint condition and ready to go". I drove a significant distance to the dealer to see the car. The vehicle was not on the lot when I arrived - they were trying to clear/reset the airbag light that I had never heard of before - and they were not successful. While I waited, Shane showed me the Carfax report, which I had asked for but he would not send unless I came to the lot - shame on me for making that mistake. The report showed the car had 4 previous owners. The vehicle was nowhere close to mint condition - in fact it was in poorer condition than average (I've looked at several). The airbag light was still on, and the car had a steering/alignment problem that was immediately obvious from a short test drive. And the car smelled strongly of smoke - which he conveniently forgot as well. Shane completely misrepresented both the history and the condition of this vehicle - and as a bonus - his price is about $3500 higher (30%) than others available that are in better condition.
