Had an issue with an online order for tires, my emailed receipt was correct and delivery to store was in 6 days. I ended up with 2 tires delivered, head office in charge of customer service did nothing but contact the store. It was the online ordering that messed up not the store. To make a long story short I ended up with all 4 tires 3 weeks later and customer service offered me nothing for their mistakes.Richard from automotive took the initiative and offered free installation, I knew the issue was online ordering but since I got nowhere with them I feel satisfied he did the right thing at the store.Thank you Richard
They carry everything you need and employees are knowledgeable in their department however I cannot give 5 stars because the customer service desk is god awful. They are so slow in returns and never call for any help and it's usually one lady operating it. If you need to return something and the line is decently long then it can take up to half an hour just to return something. I won't complain this is still my favorite place to go for automotive parts and paint.
Haven't had the best experience at this location. Most of the staff are there just because they have to and customer service is mediocre at best. My most recent experience - the cashier amazingly was able to handle my whole transaction without saying more than "cash or credit?". I usually avoid shopping there unless there is something I regularly use and it's on sale there.
Went to the CT north store after going to the one on Silver Linden as they were unable to help. The service was terrible thereI arrived at the North Richmond hill store what a difference in service . I was greeted with a warm welcome and good morning. I needed an oil change and I was done with 45 minuets the manager was wonderful as was the attended and mechanic who work on my VAN what a difference in the two stores. I would definitely recommend this store. Maybe I shouldn't as then everyone will want to go to this store for the car servicingTHANK YOU TO THE SERVICE TEAM for there wonderful service !
Horrible customer service and extremely rude staff, especially the store supervisor/manager " Daniella" who deals with returns ! When I wanted to return an unused Thermostat package which wasn't even sealed at the time of purchase, she literally screamed at me that the package is open and she cant refund it , so I have to go back to where I got it from !!!! When I made the purchase, I was told that I can return it for a full refund as long as I have the receipt and item is in its original condition, so why is the return policy so different at each store !? Its not my fault that I was sold an item which wasn't sealed and now this rude lady who calls herself a "manager" accuses me of opening the package !!!! Anyways, I will never go back to this store and never shop at Canadian Tire anymore, you lost a loyal customer , Canadian Tire !
