I have been buying drinks from this store few months, and the quality is getting worse and worse. The tea is bitter and astringent, the amount pearl is getting less and less. WONT GO AGAIN.
I didn't want to write this, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I feel it’s necessary to inform others. I have been a regular customer of Machi Machi, (Richmond Hill). I genuinely love their drinks even though they’re more expensive than other bubble tea spots. However, I’ve now had three separate instances where the drinks I received were not made properly, and it’s left me feeling frustrated. - The first time, I ordered the Crème Brûlée Milk Tea, but it came without the brûlée topping, just plain milk tea. I assumed it was a one-off mistake and let it go. - Then I ordered the Roasted Meringue Coffee Milk Tea, and the meringue was barely there, maybe a spoonful at most. Again, I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking you might’ve run out. - Most recently, I ordered the Chocolate Brûlée Milk Tea, and it had almost no chocolate. I only tasted it in two or three sips, and all I had was plain milk tea. If ingredients are unavailable, I believe it’s better to inform the customer and offer an alternative or a refund, rather than serving an incomplete drink at full price. It feels unfair and disappointing. I don’t feel comfortable returning to this particular branch anymore, even though it’s the closest one to me. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously.
I had a great experience at Machi Machi! The drinks were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and just the right sweetness. I ordered 5 drinks and I tried the Fresh Fruit Jasmine Green Tea, and it was one of the best I’ve had. The staff was very kind and honest. She was working alone and let me know that it might take a little time, which I really appreciated. Even though I had to wait a bit, it was worth it for the quality and care she put into the drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
I forgot to take a photo. When I walked into this machimachi that day, I saw that the menu had many varieties and the environment looked very clean. The pretty staff was very friendly and patient. They listened to my needs very well. Because my order was related to Uber, but Uber had an error and could not solve it. the manager was very good awesome and helped me. It took the manager and the staff a lot of time. I am very grateful.... I do believe that their service attitude will definitely make this store better and better. If I have the chance, I will definitely go to this store again! All the best,
Taro balls were hard and undercooked. I should have checked the reviews because I am not the only on with this experience. No tea flavour. A disappointment considering a regular drink is $10 with tax. Will not be back.
This is such a cute little place. The counter attendant was super friendly, patient and helpful. They serve some of their drinks in bottles which I thought was super cute. The drinks were great. Would definitely go back. If you’re in the area, check them out.
*SCAM*. *ALLERT* I came to this location wanting to bring home 3 drinks. When I saw there was a $20.99 combo for 3 deal, i decided to order it. While I was ordering, the staff told me that the mochi, a topping of one of the drinks in the combo deal, was out of stock. I asked her “so what can I substitute for it instead?”. She gave me a look and said “the combo is already really cheap已经很便宜了” implying that I shouldn’t ask for a substitute for the mochi. I replied “it’s cheaper because it’s a combo, not because it doesn’t have mochi” She then REPEATED 2 more times “the combo is already really cheap 套餐已经很便宜了” and gave me looks, to which I gave the same reply. She finally said fine you can add pearls or jelly and I choose pearls. I came home with the drinks and not surprisingly, there were next to none pearls in the drink. I also want to comment on that separately these drinks would add up to around $24, the combo was listed to be $20.99. I really wouldn’t classify ~$3 dollar savings on this combo as “REALLY CHEAP 很便宜!”
