This cafe in the library is called the same thing as a previous cafe that was there (which served the food and drinks shown in the google maps images+reviews). Now there are very few options apart from coffee and a cookie.

Misleading photos, this building is actually in Vaughan, and most of the reviews mention croissants; an item which no longer exists at this cafe. Ordered the paninis, the only things that were "freshly" made, and the insides of the paninis all drooped and fell to the bottom of the bag. It isn't a building and is just a little stand within the library.

Exquisite and sizeable sandwiches with mouth-watering baked goods, especially the croissants. The coffees are also superb, the latte is my favourite. Everything was done with great attention to detail, excellent service and very reasonably priced. Don't miss out on this great spot!

The sandwich was good, but I would not return based on the exceptionally long wait time. We waited 25 minutes for an egg salad sandwich. The music was also very loud and did not suit the otherwise relaxed atmosphere.

This is by far one of my favourite shakshuka dishes I've had. It's so wonderfully flavourful. My almond milk latte was also very well made. All in all, a very hearty meal and friendly staff. What fell short for me was the unnecessary use of single-use plastics. They had a self-serve water jug which could have easily had real glassware or reusable plastic cups. The little side dishes that come with the meal come in little plastic dishes AND THEN placed in real pottery dishes. I am sure it makes for quicker cleaning/service, but in a time of environmental concern, this struck me. Restaurant environment is a bit cold, it's nothing fancy, but the food does make up for it. I do recommend!

Excellent shashouka. Really good coffee. Breads look amazing. Croissant looks like it needs some work. They looked flat and not crispy. I wish I had a better picture to post but the shasouka was so good it was gone by the time we thought of taking a picture.

I just wish they would open up for dine in again. Their food was amazing, plus it was such a chill experience to come and have breakfast there on a Saturday morning.

Hi Felicia, we are very sorry to hear that. The long wait is not typical for our cafe and was due to a mix up with the orders. We do hope that you will give us another chance to turn your negative experience around.

Hi Kate! We appreciate your feedback. You raised some good points on the plastic use which we will take under review. Hope to see you again soon!
