Before you visit, please make sure to read this review. I am very disappointed with the service at this bakery, especially from the manager, Ms. Zari. It’s honestly surprising how someone with such unprofessional and rude behavior is running a business in Canada. The products are often past their best-before date, and the prices are much higher compared to other bakeries. I definitely do not recommend this place…
“I really enjoy shopping at this supermarket. It’s always clean and well organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bakery section is my favorite – their bread is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place!”
We bought a few items for $50. We didn’t check the receipt right away because we were in a rush. Later, we noticed that some items were priced higher than what was marked on the shelves! How does that even happen?!!! The behaviour of staff was also terrible..
Never go there A few days ago, on a rainy night, I visited Bakery and purchased two loaves of bread for $10. When I proceeded to pay, a staff member informed me that cash payment was required. I explained that I did not have cash, but she insisted, stating that I must pay in cash. When I reiterated that I did not have any, she told me that I either needed to purchase additional items or I would not be able to take the bread. I responded that I was only interested in purchasing the bread, to which she replied, This better not happen again. At that moment, I decided that I would not be returning to this bakery. Moreover, I will make sure to inform anyone I know to avoid this establishment. If Google allowed it, I would give them a negative 5-star rating. I ultimately paid with my card, yet even after the transaction, they told me, Next time, you must bring cash. I am unsure whether they are attempting to evade taxes or engaging in other questionable practices, but this is certainly not how a business should treat its
I have been shopping there since it opened with its previous owners. The new owners and people who are working there made a fradulent businesses out of it. One of their ridiculous policy is that if you just buy bread you must pay cash or buy other products as well to be able to pay with credit card. After living in this city for 30 years, this is the first time I am hearing something like this. Unacceptable behaviour and policy. I will never ever shop there again. And my next step is to see if the consumer protection agency agrees with their policy of “ only cash payment” or what Revenue Canada thinks on that matter.
I recently visited to purchase Sangak for our usual Kale Pache meal, which we often buy from Daei Reza. However, this experience was disappointing. Even though it was around noon, the Sangak we received was stale and clearly not from the same day, despite the employee's assurance that it was fresh. It's disheartening to see old leftovers being sold to customers. This experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future. I wanted to clarify that I didn’t get Kale Pache from any of these stores. I had planned to have it with friends at a restaurant , but I didn’t realize Daei Reza (another bakery nearby) was closed on Mondays. As a result, I had to go to the nearest store to get bread instead for this gathering. The owner's reply clearly shows how little they care about customer satisfaction.
The customer service is incredibly friendly, making every visit a delight. And their Barbari bread is the best in town. Each bite is a taste of perfection. Highly recommend!
