Best Barbari ever made and sold in the History of Richmond Hill and Toronto! My parents always tell me that this is the same Traditional Barbari that were made and sold before the 1979 Iranian Revolution in Iran! No Persian Bakery in both Richmond Hill and Toronto were ever able to make Barbari better than Garni Bakery! To the Owners of Garni Bakery, never stop baking Barbari! There is nobody out here who knows how to make 100% Traditional Barbari! Only you guys know how to make Barbari the right way! May Garni Sr. Always Rest In Peace.
I had been to this bakery before and had a pleasant experience. However, today was different. I went to the bakery early in the afternoon to pick up some bread. An older lady was there whose behavior was a bit questionable. I asked two Questions: the price of bread and the price of honey. Each time the lady answered abruptly and honestly rudely without any customer care at all. I felt like I was a nuisance when I just asked two simple questions. I’m not sure if the lady had a bad day but definitely she was determined to give other people a bad day. Even though their products are good, that lady will be the reason I’m not going back.
Garni Bakery is my absolute favorite spot for Persian treats in Ontario! They have the best barbari bread — always fresh, soft inside, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Their traditional Persian rollet and cream puffs are also amazing — light, flavorful, and truly authentic. Every visit feels like a taste of home. Highly recommend this bakery to anyone who loves quality Persian pastries and bread!
Garni Bakery is fantastic! The bread and sweets are delicious and always fresh. I highly recommend their Barbari bread. It has a perfect crust and soft inside. It's the best! A definite go-to for high-quality Persian baked goods.
The most fresh and delicious noon gateau I’ve ever had. Their cream puffs are good but love to have a bigger size with more filling. Their bread is so fresh and fluffy. Not a lot of diversity of desserts but what they do, they do incredibly well. Customer service could be more attentive and welcoming.
They have the best barbari and Gata bread anywhere. But for some reason attendant of the store was very impersonal. No greeting and she seemed she didn’t want to be there and serve customers. After all it is a bakery and last reputation is as good as the last visit. Especially when there is plenty of competition.
I bought a Barbari for 5 dollars today. It's nearly double the price of other stores for the same quality. Yes, we are in a free country, and anyone can set any price for their product, but we should stand against such practices. I won't ever buy anything from there again.
