Booked appointment a week ahead. Brought hair for braiding. XPressions is a good brand and I have always used them for singles. Braider was an hour late and owner refused to provide a discount. In my opinion this was the least she could have done if she cared to keep me in the chair. One of the other ladies cut the hair in three as I did not want my braids long. This was probably a mistake because the hair was not smooth and even the braider had problems because of it. The owner does not care for the inconvenience the lateness caused me and as I was about to leave as the braider suddenly showed up. Well I wish I had left. My braids are all frizzed and ends sticking out of my hair. When I got home I was extremely disappointed and furious, but mostly with myself for putting up with such attitude from the owner. If it wasnt for the event I had to attend the next day I knew I would have left and not accept such bad business ethic and customer service from this salon. I went to another hair dresser to get it fixed but it was too last minute and she said it would ALL have to be redone as my hair was sticking out of the braids. It looked like my hair was done months ago. would have to sit for another 5 and a half hours to get someone to fix and pay another fee to get this done. Apparently owners are not responsible for their employees being late and the client is supposed to foot the bill because "that is her price". I couldnt possibly tell my night job that I woke up late because of my day job. Responsibilities are responsibilities and you come to work on the time you tell your clients to come. Dont say yes to an appointment just cause you want money. I was more than happy to come later if need be. The braider apologized but my issue lies with the owner and my hair. I do appreciate that the other ladies at the salon tried to help out but I look horrible. This was my first visit to the salon. Seems like she does not care about new clients. Theres way better more professional salons out there. I take it with stride and move on. Please decide carefully before going here.
Always professional and very sweet. My daughter & I love going to Hair Trix for Keratin treatments and wash/blow dry. Staff are friendly and really know what they are doing! They are all awesome!
