I've been going to Frank for years for hairstyling and trims -- he and the team are always friendly and kind; they're always on time; and the place is pristine and inviting. Far and away, my fave salon in our area -- worth every penny!
I’ve been coming here for 5 years, my hairdresser Alexa is amazing. She listens to what I want, the results are always beautiful and she is very fun. And my hair is quite blonde but it is still very healthy and long. I recommend anyone to come here. Also when my hair is washed I always get a great scalp massage. I always get compliments on my hair. I moved to Humber bay but I still go up to Richmond hill every 3 months or so because of how amazing my experience is always. Thank you Alexa and team!! :) 10/10
Tiffany did an amazing job on my full highlights. She gave me the exact blonde I was looking for. Very professional and skilled! Front desk was very friendly and welcoming as was Tristan who did a great job with my shampoo/toner/blow dry. Will definitely be back!
Started a summer job and wanted to use of my money for a nice hair cut, 70 dollars was a bit rough but i thought it was understandable, because cutting hair is hard. I came out with hair that wasn’t anything like what i wanted, and showed them images of. Genuinely i wanted to cry. It’s probably very rare, but still god do i feel awful
i went to get my hair done back in May this year, there was a senior stylish Daniel or something asian looking man, very egoist, charge me close to $400, for my hair, i went to fix it but someone junior did my hair. the owner was kind enough to come and say hi to me, but seriously this man needs to quit , i have been on and off their customer but thats it they lost me as a customer forever.
Booked an appointment yesterday with Angelo at 1:30 PM and was very happy with the service. I was greeted immediately by name at the counter and taken to a seat where my hair was washed and my head massaged (they did a great job). After that they offered me drinks and sat me down in a seat to get my hair cut. Haircut was 10/10 no complaints and same with the service. They also gave me a little thank you note when I left. Will most likely be coming back and definitely recommend to others.
so pleased with my experience here. i got my hair cut by a junior stylist and she did a fantastic job - she even managed to fit in toning my hair as it was really brassy from a previous dye job, and she really took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. would definetely go back!
After both of the hairdressers I liked here left without any warning, I decided to try a new one that was the same skill level.Her name was Maria and she completely butchered my straight, easy to manage hair. Im ashamed to be in public. Could have gone to first choice for the same result but way cheaper. Looks like I did it myself. She was also rushing to get me out of her chair. Never coming back here again.
SANG SANG SANG! Ladies...and gents...I have been coming to Sang for two years and there has never been a visit I did not love. She is THE BEST color technician I have ever come across. I have never gotten so many compliments and I always let her choose what she wants to do. She is always up to date with the newest trends and styles without being over the top. She does an excellent job of consulting before hand and respects what you like. If you are looking for someone who is classy, professional and has an eye for what compliments you, definately ask for SANG!
Wasted $300+ and 3 months to get the hair I asked for. I came in with natural medium brown to bleached dirty blonde ombre with a brassy transition in the middle. I lamented about the brassy middle and showed my hairdresser pictures of two styles I was aiming for- a medium brown to dirty rose gold balayage and a medium brown to a beige-y light brown balayage. I said I wanted it to blend better with my natural brown hair that I was growing out than the current dirty blonde that had been resisting light brown box dyes. She explained to me dismissively and abruptly that rose gold fades too fast and she has a better idea. Her idea was to bleach over my dirty blonde (that I specifically said I was trying to darken to blend better) and pull the streaks up through the brassy mid-section without even so much as offering to tone it (I would have even paid a bit extra). Although it wasn't what I had asked for, I initially liked the result because she curled it. When the curls went away, I noticed how my hair was still a brassy ombre, just with more streaks and a brighter blonde. Clearly the curls had been chosen to hide how much it didn't "blend more naturally" which were the words I used in my request. I've now had to gradually re-darken the streaks to what I asked for (a light brown shade) without damaging them further from the unnecessary bleaching. On top of the gross price tag I paid for the mediocre amount of effort I received (simple bleach streaks and cutting of dead ends; $260 for something I could have gotten my mother to do for a $20 bleach kit from Sally's), I can confidently say that not only will I never ever be back to Framar, I'll probably go back to just doing my hair with box and Sally's dyes because "pampering" myself with a professional is too risky. What a disappointment.
