Had a great experience at Carcones! I was going to do the switch over to my winter tires at home but I got too busy and a little lazy. I reached out to them to see if they have time and told them I can only do today because today is the only day off for me and I need to get these done asap. Joe I believe was the one that picked up the phone. He sounded a little grumpy ( maybe because he's really busy) but when I got there, he was super nice to talk to. He told me he's really busy and I would need to wait a little bit before he can fit me in ( totally understand because i have no appt). I waited roughly an hour and he managed to fit me in. I got my alignment and tires done and a happy man. I did pull the Asian gene out of me and ask if he can do cash no tax but he said he can't. He simply just said everyone has to pay taxes in Canada. I said thats fair and happily paid and left. I think from now on, i'll bring my car to them to get stuff done instead of trying to do it myself. Kudos to Dan and Wes as well for answering all my questions.

These guys are the most genuine and honest mechanics around. These guys love what they do and know what they're doing. They repaired my vehicle quickly and at a good price. They're very helpful and I appreciate all the work they put into my vehicle. I love supporting honest local businesses and this one easily makes my list.
I've only ever used their emission testing service, and that was beyond reproach: fast, polite and efficient. I am usually in and out in 10-15 minutes, tops. Compare that to, say, Canadian Tire - where you'll have to wait for the same emission test for at least an hour (on a good day). This is my place of choice.
When I walked in to get my son's car checked, they were great and didn't even charge me for the diagnostics. But when I sent my son the next day, the mechanic started swearing at my son for entering from the wrong door.
