I recently enjoyed a light snack and cocktail with my mom. My mom had the Tom Yum Goong with Tiger Prawns. I had the Mango & Green Papaya Salad with Shrimp. The soup was very tasty with lots of coconut flavour with a hint of chili heat. The salad was fresh, not to spicy and a healthy dose of fish sauce, which I love for some sour flavour. Enjoyed the dirty martini I ordered and they were not shy with the alcohol.....: ). I was in Thailand early this year, is it the same? Not quite, but delicious none the less. Our service was efficient and friendly. Look forward to returning at some point in time when I crave some Thai food and can't be in Thailand.
My go to place for Thai food in the north Richmond Hill area. The decor and seating is nice and comfortable. Had an early dinner date with a girl friend on a Friday night. We were pleasantly surprised that they were still serving discounted lunch menu and we got a great deal (soup and spring roll and main dish). We especially enjoyed their soul and spring roll dipping sauce.
Decent Thai food, my favorite dish is the meat platter. Some of these dishes can get quiet spicy so make sure you ask the servers before ordering.
Very disappointed with my experience. First time here and will also be my last. Food is not good. Doesn't matter what dish it is, pad see ew; yellow curry vermicelli, yellow curry beef brisket; they are all over the roof sweet. Had high interest for dessert originally, after the entree, it was a no go. Service is good but the food is just not there, unfortunately.
The food is good. But NEVER order take out. and if you do, check your order. I always have issues. And please know that they have lunch combos. I was charged an extra $10 for 2 pad thai's while ordering take out. They had the promotion going but did not bother to tell me. Awful service, its like they just want your money.
