I was doing work in the area and stopped in a few times for lunch. The staff is friendly and place is very well kept. The food has been pretty tasty for the most part. I just wish the onions were cut a little smaller.
Usually this place produces good foods but yesterday. Ordered two dishes, one with surprisingly minimum ingredients for what it supposed to have and the other was too salty.
Horrible horrible service, when i paid with card they set the "tip" portion to 20% for me, not only that but my friend found a spider in his food and they wouldn't refund us the money, especially the owner, the person u see behind the cash register, his attitude is horrible. The "boss" the fat man is just greedy and wants money and doesn't care about the customer one bit. fake attitude, he only serves tea to the older people while teenagers and students only get ice water, when i asked for tea they said they will charge an extra $2.50.
If you are the soup kind you have to try the schezwan beef brisket noodle soup at this place which is part of their lunch menu. The beef pieces are tender and succulent. Well marinated and slow cooked to perfection. The broth is delicious and tangy. It has a that kick of spice which is not too spicy to hit you in the right spot. The umami kind of feeling when you have the first bite of meat or have a sip of the soup. The feeling is sometimes indescribable on comments. You need to try it to experience it.
I came to this awesome place by accident. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The attention by the staff is magnificent, and they always walk around the tables to be there if you need something. The only thing that I did not liked is that they wanted me to pay 50 cents extra if I paid my $16 bill with a MasterCard? Really? At Tim Horton's I buy $2 coffee with my CC and they don't charge me extra, if they can do it these guys can do it too.
