Very delicious and the performance that show the chef is really good to make a piece of Sushi every time. I really like it, l will recommend to all my friends to come.
Great value for what you get out of the Omakase. Servings tasted great and fresh despite my visit being one of the further days away from the typical seafood shipment day in a week in Toronto. This indicates a high quality operator who takes good care of ingredients. Dinner service comes in 3 courses, I chose the lowest course for about $100 and it was fantastic. Surprised the course included Uni despite being the lowest course and my wife and I were pleasantly stuffed by the end of the meal.
Exceptional $55 Omakase Lunch – Unbeatable Value!** Had an amazing omakase lunch at Taki today, and it completely exceeded expectations! For just **$55**, the quality of the fish, the chef’s craftsmanship, and the attentive service made it an absolute steal. Skilled chef - Chef Taki proves that extraordinary sushi isn't about lavish presentation, but about a chef's deep understanding of flavors. While the sushi may appear modest at first glance, each piece reveals hidden depths through the chef's impeccable seasoning choices. Thoughtful service - Friendly and attentive staff make the dining experience personal, relaxing and enjoyable. For this price, the experience rivals much pricier omakase spots. Will definitely return—maybe next time for dinner! Highly recommend.
I've tried 95 dinner special and 160 Sakura. Only difference is Sakura has sashimi 5 pieces... but price is 65 dollar more... 5 prices sashimi doesnt worth it... Go with 95 dinner special.
4 of us had a lunch Omakase with sashimi and sushi for $55. Loved it! Everything was delicious, and excellent quality ingredients. Great attention to detail with each dish. Also the amount was just right for a lunch so we felt satisfied. Service was great too.
First time to visit Taki restaurant. This location was previously with another chef before. Excellent service and they won’t be too rush for a lunch omakase session. We ordered the sashimi sushi set. It is a good portion for all of us. There are only few authentic Japanese restaurants in town. So you gotta try this one!
TAKI Japanese Cuisine is a restaurant named after the head chef, and generally, such restaurants are indeed good. The ingredients are fresh, and the tempura is perfectly fried, a must-order. The first piece of sushi, "shima aji" fish from Japan has an exceptional and unique texture, with delicate tenderly chewy. Each type of sushi is paired with different sauces. I particularly enjoy the yuzu koshou, fresh and a little bit spicy, which can replace wasabi for me in the future. They also have a highly recommended dish, the "unitoro cap" with sea urchin, fish meat, fish egg and caviar. Eating it all together provides a rich and layered taste experience with elements of brininess, sweetness, and aroma. Besides their sea urchin is really good.
