Requested the appoontment online. They were very quick to get back to me to book the appointment. Went in to get my ultrasound around lunch time. I didn't have to wait at all, the staff was quick and efficient. The doctor was really nice and thorough. Would definetly recommend it here.
Just had an abdomenal ultrasound here. I didn't encounter any issues that the other reviewers did (hygiene, dishonoured appointments etc), but I can't believe how PAINFUL the experience was. Physically painful. The sonographer pressed so hard into my abdomen that I couldn't breathe. I had tears in my eyes at one point. She also didn't like to verbally communicate instructions to me, instead she moved my body around with her hands. It was just a very uncomfortable experience, and very unlike previous ultrasounds I've gotten. I had barely laid down and she dug it into me right away. The best way I can describe it is this: I have a little sister. When we were younger and we used to play fight, she would punch me. Nothing serious, but they would hurt. That's what this ultrasound felt like. For full disclosure, I never asked the sonographer to lighten up (I couldn't communicate well with her - she didn't understand my pronunciation of the words "immunized" or "vaccinated", I had to tell her I got a shot). I wouldn't consider myself skinny, but I'm certainly not obese (I'm under size 10 in dresses); I'm not sure if she couldn't get a proper reading off of me without using so much force? I am also not pregnant; I've never had an ultrasound for pregnancy so I'm not sure how the sonographer (whose name is Ava) would treat such a patient.Ava was polite and professional in all other manners of her conduct. I don't think she was rude or unqualified in any way. It just truly was an uncomfortable experience for me. As such, I would not return here if given the choice.
I gave this place a chance cause its the only place close to me (the other has equally bad ratings).I had to call three times to get my ultrasound sent to my doctor.
I believe there is absolutely no infection control and hygiene process is being done in this place by the staff! I went for my ultrasound today and a lady named Angela did my ultrasound. When I entered the room the bed was still messy from the last client (they didnt even clean the room before they call the next patient), also I didnt see she clean the rolling handle in front of me which Im sure when the bed wasnt clean, for sure the handle wasnt neither! After she finished my ultrasound she handed me a towel and while she passed it to me she wipe out the gels on the handle with the same towel she was handed in! Thats gross! Anyways I hope the office manager read my review and address her the proper infection control which is the most important thing in health care! And lastly, I wont recommend this place to anyone.
Recently had an ultrasound done here. Was able to get an appointment within two days. Staff were professional and courteous. The waiting room was clean, registration was completed quickly and the appointment began on time. Would come back for future ultrasounds, and would recommend this location to others.
