Really disappointed with the direction this supermarket has gone over the last ten years - management lacks integrity, when being confronted that they sold old products they claim it’s the buyers fault. No proper solution offered to remediate issues. I would suggest saving your money and supporting other Persian supermarket businesses that stand by their products and their freshness.
Found a jar of pickles two months past its expiration date. Staff said the price was reduced,and pickles don’t expire! No apologize! How are expired items allowed on shelves, and who checks them? Check dates carefully!
Haft Seen Supermarket is always my first choice for buying high-quality and nostalgic Persian products. You can find everything you need for making traditional Persian dishes here — from herbs and spices to legumes, canned foods, frozen foods, and premium snacks like Lavashak. The gentleman who owns the store once told me their motto: “Don’t ask if we have it — ask where it is!” That pretty much sums up the experience. Highly recommended!
Our favorite of all the stores we visited in Toronto. Everything they have is quality. The two Sales people we encountered were very helpful and friendly.
We visited here from US and we were able to find everything that we needed. The store took me to old school stores in Bazar Vakil in Shiraz with the aroma of spices.Small store but very friendly owner.
"I purchased two rice cookers from this store, but unfortunately, neither of them worked for more than two weeks. When I contacted the owner to return them, they agreed, so I brought them back to the store. However, upon returning them, I was told that there is no guarantee because the rice cookers are counterfeit Pars Khazar products, and the store is not accepting responsibility. I am deeply disappointed with their lack of accountability."
This shop has everything you could possibly need. Particularly popular are nuts and beans. It reminds me of old-school Iranian stores from my childhood. I enjoy the aroma of spices in the air. I buy the majority of my necessities here. There are two sellers, one of whom is extremely friendly.
