Unfortunately will not be returning. Called the store to order samosas got 2 dozen of them. They asked when i will be arriving, I said in an hour and they said great! I came got my food and went home. When i opened up the take out boxes the food was ice cold. They literally took it out of the fridge and put it into take out containers. I don't have a problem with that but if i was going to a party or taking it to a friends house, this would have been a very embarrassing situation. The food wasn't that spectacular, no different from something you can get at the frozen food section of your local supermarket. Sorry I wanted to support a local business but this was disappointing.
First time tasters! Somosas (veg & beef): very fine dough, tasty fillings. Beef pilau & chicken curry: excellent! Even though the dishes are mild, they still managed to delighfully and ever so gently nip our western palates. We shall return! Let's all support our local small business communities!
Tiny and extremely cramped place. Aisles are so narrow that anyone can barely go through it without hitting various objects around. Product selection is mediocre. Went there to get fresh chicken liver and was told they only have frozen ones.
Great place to get halal meat. Both owner and butcher are very nice. You can find a variety of products from Pakistan & India. Meat prices are reasonable too. Product quality is top notch, no expired stuff or anything. Highly recommended for anyone looking for desi products.
