Excellent place for kids activities. A verify of swimming learning activities including one-to-one teaching. This summer This community center is adding a big outdoor water park facility together with kids play ground equipment.
Looks like a nice facility but I went inside this Sunday during the Fall Festival to get out of the heat and there wasn't a single place to sit down. There weren't a lot of people inside but I would have thought there would be at least a few benches as it's a community center. There were a number of locked rooms with stacks of chairs but none available for use. The only thing I can think of is that they don't want things too comfortable encouraging students to hang around.
It's very nice of you to stay calm in that situation, I am sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience, thanks to share and express your feelings, and for the next step perhaps consider discussing the incident with the school management to address that behavior!
You might think it’s just a story but it was a true story. While my kid playing at the hall between public school and this community centre, two ladies walked forward to me and loud voices asking with angry face from far they asked “ Are they your kids? Are they your kids? Repeat” and I said that yes it’s my kid? and they said that you have to tell them stop running around here, if they run then everybody else will follow, tell them stop otherwise I kit them out a door. I said that ok , I will tell them. Because at that moment I sat on the ground I saw their angry face, I was not really impressed and surprised why they act like that. I kind of slowly ready to stand up, but one lady said that you get up and tell them and I was hummm…not really accepting her attitude, and she said again with her bossy voice “get up and tell them”. At that moment, I try to calm because I don’t want to react by her level behaviour. Hey mam, if you are a manager you should be careful on your behaviour, you have a lot of nicer way to talk with people, don’t you learned it from school or from kids when you work beside school, you must deal with many kids around. How can you give trust on someone like your staffs for example? And I am not your kid to hear your word “get up”. That was so impolite. I could not believe how they deserve to have that job.
Regular drop in for some sports. It is actually a building with 4 wings. 2 wings are used by 2 schools. 1 wing for the gym which can be partition into 3 basketball courts. The last wing is used as program rooms for the community center.
My friend and I went to play drop in basketball, and the custodian Adrian accomodated to our needs. For the activity, the online registration was down and we really wanted to get a training session in. One of the workers and Adrian accomodated and did more than enough for us! This man was the nicest person I've ever met. Thanks man ! 5 stars!
I went to play drop-in basketball and the custodian Adrian was probably the nicest human I've ever met. I never usually write reviews but he helped me and my friend with everything and made sure we had a good time.
