I regularly purchase decaf coffee from Tim Hortons and have never experienced anything like what happened at the Hillcrest Mall store today. I ordered a decaf with one milk and one cream, and I made sure to emphasize “no sugar.” However, when the coffee was handed to me, the staff member said “milk and sugar.” I corrected her, explaining that I had asked for milk and cream, no sugar. At that point, she seemed upset and told me, “When you order, you shouldn’t say no sugar because that’s confusing.” Although she did replace the coffee, it was done with noticeable attitude. When I thanked her upon receiving the corrected cup, she didn’t acknowledge me at all—it felt as though I had made a mistake and owed her an apology. I understand Tim Hortons is a busy place and mistakes can happen, but customers should never be blamed or treated with hostility when clarifying their order. Experiences like this explain why the overall rating of this location is lower than others. I sincerely hope management takes note of this incident and addresses the service standards at this store.

Worst Tim’s on the planet. One coffee takes 200 years to make. By the time I got my order i had 6 kids, a mortgage, and 4 cars. Edit: this place just gets worse and worse every time. I work in the mall and whenever I come for a coffee I spend 25 min of my 30 min break just waiting to get my order taken even if there is like 3 people in line. Im not sure how they’re able to be this slow or not have enough employees.
Jocelyn was super rude. I tried to order a single egg because it is all I can eat after my jaw surgery. She was not helpful or empathetic. After her boss came into help (she couldn't and didn't want to figure out how to charge for that) and I was waiting by the side, she had the nerve to ask me if I ever worked at a Tim Horton's! Super rude!
Terrible! Why open a fast-food restaurant in mall and not recruit enough employees. There is no manager on site, and all the employees don't care that the people standing in line also have to go to work. Employees are rude, it looks like they work there for free.
They’re so slow! The customer service is just terrible. They always have people lining up because they can’t get the food out fast enough. It’s so slow I would literally leave while waiting and give my business to McDonald’s and Starbucks! They need to hire better and faster people here. Not impressed by this location at all.
