Popped into Stoa Coffee with my wife and kids and really liked the vibe. Cute little Japanese-inspired space and they roast their own beans, which is always a good sign. Tried one of their more interesting drinks — an iced tea and espresso combo — sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly good. Even the kids gave it a try. My wife enjoyed her cortado, and I ended up bringing my parents back a few days later. They liked it too. I tried their “Black & White” offering, which is actually two separate drinks — one from the Black menu (I think it was an Americano) and one from the White menu (pretty sure it was a flat white, but it’s been a while, so not fully confirmed). Overall, a good spot in the area. I’d rate it an 8.1. Would come back. #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot
First time here @ stoa coffee, calm chill place. Quite jazz music in the background. They have a projector viewing silent scenery on the wall. You can buy beans here. Cappuccino are smooth.
Cozy cafe with lots of options for coffee lovers! There is more seating at the back of the cafe that can’t be seen from the store front that offers desk working space and outlets. They had a projector set up during our visit with a winter lodge setting projected that made the space so cozy! Please note that they do have a 1 hr seating limit which is more than enough time to enjoy the space and ambience of the cafe :)
This place, oh my days! I was visiting from Vaughan to drop my kid of for a birthday and was hunting for coffee in the area. I got a flat white from here and a chocolate chip cookie. The two combined transported me to heaven lol... Premium quality and taste. Oh and the place, if you want to hang around, is a little snug but has a warm and feel good vibe. Will be coming here again soon even though I'm 30 minutes out. Will make a drive out of it!
Wish I had enough time to take pictures but I had to rush to work! The place is sooooo cute and showed how much the owners/staff took pride in their work. There are also lots of local artisans' crafts which were lovely. I got the espresso + sparkling Vita lemon drink, which the barista said was one of his favourites. I can see why!! It was sooooo good. Would love to have it again sometime soon.
Amazing coffee shop. It's obvious they love coffee themselves and put a lot of care into everything they do. They have a few baked goods and what I tried was great. They have many specialty coffee beans that you can buy, from fairly affordable to very primo.
Had a coffee pour-over that was recommended by the staff but the taste was not good it was sour and bitter which I paid $20 for it. I can tell it was not done by someone knowledgeable about coffee. Anyways, they had large selection of beans that I thought to give a try at home, there was a Japanese branded one that was $70, it was not good felt like they had gone bad, not special at all given the price tag…..
