Great customer service and owner is friendly, making sure everyone is taken care of. But the brisket sandwich wasn’t that great. We came here because we had heard such great reviews, but the brisket wasn’t as exceptional as we were made to believe. However, the place looked really awesome with great cuts and meat options.
Stopped in here as I'd seen it on TikTok, and we all go to Meridian Sport and Spa in the same plaza, so this was a convenient spot to get quality food home to the family on a Friday night! We all LOVED the sandwiches and the steak, brisket and chicken were all phenomenal! Fresh, locally sourced and quality ingredients! Can't wait to try the butcher the next time we go for physio!? Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!!!
I normally dont leave reviews but this has got to be the best food sandwiches I've ever had, tried their brisket, veal parm and pulled pork. All AMAZING. Big portions cant even eat all of it. The pulled pork is my personal fav. Must try!
OK if you want the very best cuts of meat and the friendliest service, Micatoni’s is second to none. I ordered a Christmas turkey this year that they prepare to your liking… I asked for seasoned and stuffed with fresh bread stuffing. It was the BEST the family has ever had and we also got their home made turkey gravy that was absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone at Micatoni’s!
Great service, friendly, knowledgeable owners and the meat......WOW! Bought the most AMAZING ribsteaks today, looked so good, I almost ate them raw! There is 3 feet of snow on my deck so no BBQ today so I made them on the stove top, in a cast iron pan, butter basted, with whole garlic cloves and rosemary al la Gordon Ramsey! Honestly as good as any high end steak house in the GTA... second only to bbq'd dry aged rib-steaks. I'll be back!
My husband and I have known Mike and Tony for about 30 or more years, way back when they worked at another shop. When we moved farther up north we were thrilled to learn they had opened their own store right near us. All I can say is that the meat they provide customers is top quality, grass fed and delicious. They cut to size and they go out of their way to ensure you get what you asked for. They also sell dressings, mustards, fabulous hot brisket and other side dishes. On a side note, they are the nicest guys around. They always have a joke or 2 to share and it's just a fun place to buy your food. They learn your names fast if you are a repeat customer so they know your likes and dislikes. The rest of the staff is also kind and courteous. My husband and I are there at least every week, calling early to order so that everything is ready for pickup when we arrive. We would both recommend this shop for anyone looking for excellent quality food, good service, delicious meat choices and great people who are respectful, caring and yes, sometimes hilarious.
Walked in today for the first time today, and after a few minutes, we were wondering why we hadn't come in sooner. Tony was amazing, and gave us special treatment when he found out it was our first time there. A smart business man, an even better meat specialist - and our new butcher from here on in.
