My husband and I hired SDE Weddings for videography, a same day edit and photobooth for our wedding in September. They were recommended by family who used their services two years prior, and we were not disappointed! Both videographers were professional, friendly and had great ideas for fun video clips to help capture our big day. The same day edit was shown after dinner during our reception and it was the highlight of many guests' night. Given the amazing results of the same day edit, we can't wait for the full wedding video! The photobooth was great, guests loved taking photos with fun props and getting copies of the images on the spot. We hired a separate photography company and both groups were professional and worked seamlessly with each other. We would highly recommend SDE for your wedding day!
My wife and I decided to go with SDE to capture moments at our wedding from start to finish. We were blown away by their same day edit - and it also had rave reviews from our guests. We sent the team some ideas ahead of the wedding day and they were able to execute and more! Vaan and Ray were extremely on-time, professional, and super fun to be around - which added to the overall vibe of our day. They were so diligent in editing and putting together an amazing product in such a short amount of time. Another incredible touch was their photobooth. It was a massive hit with the guests, and it allowed us to have a guestbook (physically and digitally) that we will look back on for years to come.
We used SDE for our Photobooth for our August 2024 wedding. Positives: - Set up and teardown on the wedding day was seamless - Price was good when compared to other vendors (we did a 3 hour package). - We did a glam style black and white photo setup and we thought it came off pretty well in general. - We enjoyed the album where our filmstrips were collected and we appreciate that the attendant ensured the photos got added and people left comments (major positive in our eyes) Negatives - The sides of the filmstrip photos were cut off. The photos still came out well but sometimes people thought they were in the photo only to find out they were partially or fully cut out of the print off. - Props seemed to be included in the package but there weren't any on the day off. Ultimately this wasn't a big problem because of the photobooth style we chose (black and white glam) but others would find it disappointing. - Communication was a little weird, and the main contact could have been more responsive. - Our filmstrip template could have been better. We referenced some of the options on their site thinking they would be able to recreate it but it seems they couldn't exactly.
We used SDE for our Wedding photo booth. They were a pleasure to work with! They were always very responsive and I love how customizable the prints were. We sent them the design of our wedding website and they were able to match it beautifully for the photo prints! Everyone had a blast with the photo booth at the wedding and we got a lot of compliments. I also love the guestbook that came with it! Putting copies of the photos into the guestbook was a fun idea, and now we have even more memories to look back on!
We were very impressed with the photobooth services that SDE Weddings provided for our wedding. They were very responsive in helping us develop a template that we loved and they were always available to answer all our questions. On the day of the wedding, the attendant was very friendly and professional. We especially enjoyed the online gallery provided to us and the guestbook provided to us to store prints. Our friends and family loved having the photobooth at our wedding and we would highly recommend if anyone is looking for photobooth services at their event!
EDIT: THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW. THIS REVIEW IS 100% REAL. My name is Milica Radovanovic. I was Milica Rados before i got married. Melissa is the name i use, as i live in Toronto and people are unable to pronounce it. I got married last year and chose SDE Weddings because of the price. I just got around to editing my videos and i noticed multiple things wrong. First off i asked for drone footage. As i was coming out of the church, the drone captured absolutely nothing as it got stuck in a tree and started falling. The camera man then went looking for it and filmed NOTHING else as he had to go searching for this drone. Additionally, he missed the moment of guests arriving with both the drone and the regular camera..... so he made my guests drive around the block so he could re-film and again, the drone footage was so bad you cant even tell what was going on. During the reception, most of the videos are just placed on a tripod watching people moving around in front of the camera. And the footage that was done by hand was very unstable. There are also clips where its myself and my family dancing together, and for some reason he moves the camera to go film others!! Very strange. Lastly, they mentioned that they would use a mic for sound, there is not one audio clip, nor did i see a mic used at all. So i am basically detaching audio from the video to use as sound clips, which obviously doesn't sound as clear as it should. I was not very picky with my videographer, i just wanted someone there to capture the important moments, and unfortunately that did not happen. This is a once in a life time event so make sure you are paying a little bit extra because i promise you will regret it later on.
SDE Weddings was hired for our large holiday event for their Photo booth services. Yang and the team were very professional and prompt. They were easy to consult with in regards to what we wanted customized for the pictures and made desirable adjustments to our satisfaction. They were experienced and easy to work with at the event. Very accommodating to our requirements. The event was very busy and very very popular that it was one of our highlight activities at our annual holiday party. It proved to be very popular! We would recommend SDE Weddings as they did an EXCELLENT job! The pictures turned out great and many people were happy with the results! AWESOME WORK SDE Weddings!!!
