Extrem long waiting period for a doctor, short staffed, hallway full of patients at all hours, some people have been waiting 8-10 hours.Unbelievable
My wife and I are first time parents and have a baby with his first fever at 38.6. It was late and We wanted to know what was happening and if it could be dangerous to our child. We were told that teething fever arent typically this hot. My son, wife, and her parents waited for 3 hours until the doctor would give an insensitive statement that our child should not be here because he doesnt seem to be dying. When concerns with that philosophy was questioned, he smuggly replied well thats a Canadian hospital. He would not answer any of our questions or concerns or spend a minute to offer an explanation to convince us that he did any assessment of the situation. The nurses were kind and tried to get the doctor to do more. We had to go elsewhere.Apparently, multiple families were displeased with the service and caused scenes.
Fantastic care, especially Nursing Staff.I was there 16 days and had two bowel surgeries.Best treatment of all the hospitals inn the GTA and unfortunately I have been in most of the.Surgical team was excellent.My #1 choice for a Hospital in the GTA.Looking forward to the new Vaughan Hospital.
