The tuna and salmon are fresh and the sushi are nicely made, only $18.95 soup and salad included. Great deal! Will come back again whenever nearby! Thank you, guys!

This is the second time I have dined here after almost a year. I was happy that the quality has been maintained. The restaurant is very clean and has a good vibe and ambient. Lots of space. I went for lunch and there were only 2 other tables occupied. Many lunch orders come with Miso soup and Salad, both very fresh and tasted excellent! For the 3 of us we ordered 1 appetizers, 3 Sushi Rolls, and one Salmon platter. It’s was very filling and delicious. I would recommend the restaurant and would visit again.
I frequent to this restaurant for ordering to go sushi and sashimi. I am disappointed this time because I ordered 16 assortment sashimi pieces but ended up receiving 12 when I opened the box at home. In the past, I never counted the number of pieces. I would consider avoid going to this place in the future.
This restaurant use to be called Senbazuri. It use to be a Japanese restaurant that served good quality sushi, but then went downhill. First time back since they renamed it Takumi. We ordered their 48 piece roll for $38 + tax. It was just enough for myself, my wife , my 10yr old son and 11yr old daughter. The food is a bit above mediocre. In all honesty, I cannot complain considering the price. I usually order from another sushi restaurant down the street which has high quality sushi, but decided to give Takumi a try because I was feeling cheap. I would go back if I feel the need to save on the pocket book. I gave the restaurant a lower rating because when you pay you are forced to give a tip. I don’t agree with tipping if I’m doing takeout. I would be more than happy to tip good service if I am dining in. *UPDATE* I apologize. I was made aware by Takumi sushi there is an option to skip the tip portion. I must have missed it. I have changed the rating from a 3 to a 4.
Best sushi restaurant in this area. It's our family and friends favorite place for taking out. We always order 60 pcs or 80 pcs assorted rolls plate. They put a little bit rice outside the roll and too much filling inside Fish always fresh and yammy. My favorite rolls it's a Snow Mountain I recommend to try it for everyone who loves Kani Salad. Also the prices are reasonable.
This was my second time ordering take-out from here - both were fantastic! You get a good selection with the mixed platter for an amazing price. Sashimi was very fresh and rolls were delicious. It is a bit tucked away but a little gem in Oak Ridges nonetheless!
