i love this food market so much! Not only do they have fresh foods but the service thier is amazing! very poloite and they even go out of thier way to help you bag your grocery!
I have been shopping at Oak Ridges Market for many years now. Their recent renovation made a great little market even better. This store is full of excellent quality fresh produce, butcher shop quality meats, delicious prepared foods and soups, a nice little bakery with excellent deserts and breads, a great deli, an excellent selection of pasta sauce, pasta and many other items you find in a larger grocery store. The most important and best part of this store is their staff. Many of the staff members have been here for many years and they treat customers like friends. Even the newer staff members are professional, helpful and friendly. I was in last week to have cold cuts sliced, my family likes them sliced as thin as possible (This is an insurmountable task at all the chain grocery stores) and had a young man named Chris slice my order. He did an amazing job, they were perfectly sliced. This is an art which few deli counter staff care to learn and this young man has mastered it! I almost forgot to mention the floral section of the store; there is always a beautiful selection of both cut and potted flowers at the front of the shop. In the summer months, there is a lovely outdoor garden centre with large summer planters for sale. The planter options are changed as the seasons change and they even have an excellent selection of planters created for winter. This store is a little gem of a store in a little gem of a town.
This is a tremendous store. High quality fresh produce and meats. Helpful staff. I have shopped here for about 20 years whenever I am in the area. I have NEVER had an issue with quality of the products from this store. I think that this is an independent store and the owner(s) should be praised for their commitment to offering great food products.
Revised from five stars to one star.Little girl gave us hard time to return bad produce. Comments included "How do you know it's bad?" and "I don't see any green."After spending at least $100+ a week here for years, we're not coming back. Voting with my dollars. Workers need a lesson in manners.
Went in for 2 things, 15mins later after being ignored by multiple staff finally was served complained to the person who served me about having to wait and see other people served before me when I was there before them he laughed at me. I then spoke to a manager who quickly brushed me off. Staff are rude. Prices high. No respect to customers. Reccomend staying away.
