Being big sauna enthusiasts, my friends and I recently checked out this place in spite of the mixed reviews online, hearing that it has come under new management. We regretted it almost immediately, and I dont see us returning. The pros are that there are two saunas, the owner is quite friendly and personable, and there is ample showers and room to relax. The cons are everything else. The towels and bathrobes are old, have holes and are in general too small. The food they provide is nothing special, and the menu was just a stained piece of paper. The woman out front kept pressuring us to order quickly and to order additional items we didnt want. We ordered some lard and bread, asked for it to be served as soon as possible, and had to cancel our order when it wasnt served after 30 minutes of waiting. The steam room was cold and took a very long time to heat up. The cold pool has a strange odour and didnt look to be regularly cleaned. Also one of the ice buckets had a rope missing. There wasnt tea readily available - we had to ask the woman out front for tea and it took 10 minutes. Most other places just have tea out that the patrons can take and make themselves, with readily available hot water. There was no refrigerator for our own food and drinks, like other saunas have. There was also a woman staff member during men’s day which made it uncomfortable as mens days are clothing optional. She was also unwelcoming and standoffish. There are two saunas but they are quite small so I would avoid coming on weekends. So far, I cant recommend this place. If you are interested, there are other better saunas available in the area.
This is a wonderful spot to come with your friends and make your buddy feel extra special before his wedding during his bachelor party! The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Everything is well-maintained and spotless, making it a perfect place for celebrating. I highly recommend choosing this Russian Spa for your special events!
Great service, renovated wooden Banya with cold pool , steam room, massage and more, food is also great along with fresh draft beer, highly recommended!
