Mom is there. The staff are great. Food is also great in my opinion. Mom is so happy she wants to buy her condo which we had to explain that she can only rent. All good.
Recent experience with maintenance was done in a very timely and efficient manner. I’m enjoying living here. It’s a very safe place to live with current Covid restrictions. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We cannot express our thanks to the entire team at Chartwell Oak Ridges but especially Leanne Stevens, for their compassion and care during the very difficult transition of our loved ones into their Retirement Residence. The addition of Covid-19 protocols has made an already stressful time, even more so, yet the entire team from every department have gone the extra mile to ensure that above all, our family members felt welcomed, special and safe. They have also gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed into their community as well. We definitely would whole-heartedly recommend Chartwell Oak Ridges.
This is an outstanding facility. Extremely well managed. Very attentive to the needs of the residents. Covid-19 has presented a few challenges but the GM and staff have been up to the challenge. They keep residents and families well informed. Our mom has been a resident for 6 years and it's been a wonderful experience despite the fact the English is not her first language. We highly recommend the Residence.
I have nothing but good comments to make about the staff and the Chartwell residence itself. It has been a very challenging past year and the staff has risen to the challenge. The communication with the families in regards to their loved ones is excellent, especially during the pandemic. We feel that our loved one is well looked after and if we have questions, the staff is only a phone call away and our questions are answered and any issues are resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. We have dealt with Linda and Jason in particular and they have both been excellent!
Chartwell Oak Ridges Retirement Residence have diligently supported the well being of the residents, keeping family informed every step of the way during these unprecedented times. The staff/management are united to serve and protect the residents and keeping themselves safe during this prolonged period of time. We truly appreciate the care, dedication and commitment to the resident's best interests. Sincere thanks for all you do, it does not go unnoticed.
After many years of living on her own my Mom moved into Chartwell Oak Ridges in August 2020 and the transition has been great. The staff are friendly, positive and responsive. On the day my Mom moved in she was greeted with a large welcome basket of fruit and goodies, especially appreciated as she had to quarantine due to COVID. When a new bedframe was purchased for my Mom, the General Manager of the Residence took the time to assemble it himself, the day after it arrived! After only 2 months at Oak Ridges, my Mom recently stated that “she loves living here, and she loves her suite”.
