I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The ramen was honestly worse than instant noodles — no flavor, soggy noodles, and the broth was bland and plain. The pork cutlet was burnt to a crisp, and it had that bitter, overcooked taste that made it completely inedible. To top it off, the miso soup was awful. It was far too watery, and the flavor was just off. I don’t know if they forgot the seasoning or if they just didn't care, but it was like drinking salty dishwater. But the worst part? The service. The waiter was incredibly rude — when we walked in, he didn’t even greet us. He just threw the menus on the table and walked away without a word. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or if that’s just the standard here, but it felt incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming. At least try to fake some politeness if you're not going to actually care about the customers. I’ve had better ramen from a supermarket. Never coming back.
Good portion and great tasty food! Tea is a bit weak. Ingredients in the shoya ramen is great! Like other ramen place, they have 2 slices of meat. But the soup reminded my trip to tokyo recently.
First time here. Place is actually run by Chinese people from China. Place is semi small but cozy. Food was ok actually but they don't offer a choice of noodles, its just the thin kind. They did also have some weekly specials which was nice. Overall I would probably return again since this is the only Ramen place within walking distance to me and I would still recommend this place to those in the area looking for some Ramen to give this place a try!
Had the daily special it was good. Surprised by how reasonable the price was, given how expensive everything is now. Can't say how authentic the Ramen they serve is, but I can say without a doubt that I enjoyed it very much. I'd give a 5 but I reserve 5s for things that are truly spectacular.
After a long day I decided to drop in and give this restaurant a try. I ordered the beef ramen and was so impressed. I have only tried Ramen once before but this by far is one off the best soups I've had. Rich and flavorful. So much so i went back the following day. I live in the area so they will see me again.
Amazing food, me and my girlfriend came on a date and wanted to try their beef ramen, boba and takoyaki. All 3 were amazing and fresh. Service here is really nice and fast. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for authentic ramen
I am a regular at Yokahoma ramen. I uber most of the time. This time around, my Ramen was missing bamboo shoots, and only got 1.5 pieces of meat. For the money they get, I essentially mostly got noodles with broth. I will order one more time to give them a chance for old time sake and adjust my review accordingly but as of now very disappointed.
