Janet always does an amazing job with our Tiffany (Samoyed breed). Tiffany looks and smells great after her grooming session. Janet is very passionate and highly professional groomer. It is quite pricey but she does an impeccable job. Thank you!
Our dog has grown up with Janet since Modern Pets opened up shop. She is a nurturing and patient groomer with lots of professional experience with a variety of dog breeds in a comfortable environment. Our dog can be quite tricky to handle, but Janet always manages to calm him down and he is always happy whenever he enters... plus he plays with her goldens! We can drop our dog off confidently with Janet and have him come back looking sharp. Highly recommend!
my dog jasper and my cat kitty being grooming at modern pets for about 11 years . janet is a best groomer because she caring about them , coz my dog and cat were rescue and they had behaviour problem , she was very patient to groom my pets and explain everything to me . my dog is very hard to touch because before I adpoted he had very bad experience from last owner. she not only care my pets when I had any question she always answer and help me even off hours. so my pets love her very much and I’m so lucky to find this place and don’t need to worry about anything because modern pets is very clean , safety and all window see full , I’m very happy about the service here! First she told me that the price will be 50-75 dollars. when I got there she looked like she was not sure about anything. I told her that my dog has a lot of tangles; and she immediately said that she had to shave her just close to skin; and kept on and on that how it was impossible to leave any hair on my dog.... and even if it's only shaving her that short it will be $120 plus tax!!! I was horrified; and plus my dog was not comfortable at all. So I took my dog home and started with just scissors and shaving machine. I am not a groomer but it took me 45 minutes and just easily cut the tangled parts and then shaved her very nicely. Her skin is not showing as the groomer told me it was going to! I would never ever go back to her and don't suggest her at all!
