I had some bloodwork done at Dynacare in Oakridges recently. Big line up, but moved fairly quickly. The technician that took my blood was excellent, five stars.
I have gone to this location couple of times before and after pregnancy.Hamid took my blood samples He is very professional and respectful and I didn’t feel the needle at all. Thank you!
Kind staff and very good wait times. My concern is about hygiene. I came in on Friday and then again Monday and there was the same abandoned water bottle on the waiting room floor. No one seemed to disinfect lab room chairs armrests between patients. My lab technician had 2-inch long nails. The CDC recommends that healthcare personnel keep their nails short, with the nail tips not extending past the end of the finger. They also advise against wearing artificial nails, as they have been linked to outbreaks of infections in healthcare settings. She struggled to put gloves on. She was using one hand (I didn’t see her sanitize her hands) to put on a sterile glove on the other…which obviously made it not sterile. Please more cleanliness and hygiene for patients and staff.
As someone with extreme fear and anxiety about needles, I was terrified as last time I had fainted with another blood clinic. I went super early this morning, and my blood tech was Pantea. I told her about my fear, and she made my experience so comfortable. She took me to a special room, gave me a mask to cover my eyes, and was over super accommodating and understanding. Instead of feeling embarrassed I felt supported. The technique she used was incredible, I barely felt a thing. She also made me laugh and lightened the mood. Thank you truly Pantea, I will not be going anywhere else for bloodwork from now on!

Unbelievable. Worst reception staff. They're so busy discussing receipes and their weekends they ignore customers (yes, we are customers). Basically ignored me until they finished their conversation? Lab technician however was excellent.
Staff were friendly, fast and efficient. This location is typically busy as it is inside a medical building. This location is ideal for you if you don’t mind waiting.
