AWFUL HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM VISHAN. I asked a question and he proceeded to say “open your eyes” and made the gesture suggesting I’m “crazy”. Whoever owns this station, SHAME on you and your employees. SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR.
The Shell App doesn’t work at the pumps, so I can’t get Airmiles, And the Staff didn’t help at all, she didn’t ask us to show the Airmiles number . The App designed looks great but unfortunately it doesn’t work at the pumps. There should have some sign or labels to tech people how to use the App or the staff should assist. Don’t want to use them.
This isn't my first choice for filling up at Shell, but it's the closest one to my home and I have used it a few times. I've never gone inside the store and have only used the Phone app to prepay as you get a price reduction when you combine CAA and Air Miles. Using the phone app for payment would solve pretty much 90% of the issues other reviewers are complaining about. This Shell is located on a busy intersection in Richmond Hill, so be careful pulling out of the driveway when leaving.
I am only giving a 3 because of the inconvenience it brings to customers. I am a regular and I like to fill up the entire tank but there are often times we are asked to do pre-pay outside. When you do prepay, you have to guess how much it will cost to fill up the entire tank. Although “money will go back to your credit card”, no one likes to prepay hell a lot and wonder how to ask for their money back should there be a mistake in the charge. It brings me to this review because if it is a regular practice, I get it and respect it but this is not. It’s so random that it is annoying. Tonight when the lady talked through the mic and said it’s prepay, she even shouted, ‘Put back the nozzle!’ This is really nice customer service. I actually walked into the store and asked why the random policy, she said because no. 1 & 2 are always prepay. I always go to this station and 1 & 2 ARE NOT always prepay. Then she said the cameras there are not working. (How convincing is this when the reason changed just like that?) What I know is that it’s only prepay when it’s a young female voice. Don’t get me wrong. I like the other staff like an older gentleman and I don’t mean to be a Karen here. I will still go to this location because it’s close to my home. And 80% of the time the staff are nice, the remaining 20% is less than pleasant because you aren’t allowed to pay as you pump.
I was just here. The guy did not let me put gas before paying. I did not know hpw much gas my car needs. So I left a $60 cash and I said I want to pay with credit card. Don’t use my cash. When I came back to the booth. He gave me a change for my money. When I asked him that I want to pay with card, he started to scream at me.
Gas station from the past. Retro and old nothing wrong with that. Does not have many selection of modern gas stations. Does not have Lotto Centre. Dusty and it smells in the store.
