I saw Dr. Rhea D'Souza at the walk-in clinic here and her care simply did not meet standards. She was incredibly dismissive of my symptoms and lacks basic clinical knowledge and judgment including being wrong about the diagnosis and management of my illness. I had to really advocate for myself to get the timely treatment that was needed and was frankly shocked by her lack of clinical competence. I found Rhea's attitude to be unprofessional and disrespectful for a physician and can only imagine how she is with other patients who may not be able to speak up for themselves. Evidently, she needs to work on growing in humility for someone who is just a few years into practice. An inexperienced physician with a dismissive and uncaring attitude is a very dangerous combination for patients.
Poor time management… Booked an appointment with Dr Fok but still need to wait more than 30mins to see him. Hope the doctor and receptionist can manage the appointment schedule better.
A really nice, modern clinic. You can tell they are quite busy and manage a lot of patients/calls/etc. Despite the high workload, the receptionists take the time to be nice and are very patient with you. They are also multilingual - speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin at a minimum (they might speak more but I can’t personally confirm)! They also have an in-house pharmacy which is very convenient. Located in a plaza with a lot of parking and food options.
I am writing this review for Dr, Michelle Mair who I consulted just now for cough and fever. Dr. Mair was very gentle, heard my concerns and and advised me accordingly. All the 5 stars are for her only. Way to go Doc. Mair. Footnote: I asked the receptionist whether they allow me to take pictures of their interior to write a google review. But, the facility manager said no to that. They should understand that it is business. The more you show the higher your turnout. May be they reached their capacity and are not looking for new patients.
During my visit, I forgot to bring a face mask. I asked for a face mask from front desk but they refused to give one. That was not safe for me and them.
Me and my family have been visiting this clinic for almost 3 years. Every doctor office is busy, that's this country's healthcare system's remaining issue not an individual practice's problem. You can feel they are trying their best to assist you and make your visit smooth as possible. Love Dr. Fok, he's hands down one of the best in all the doctors I visited in the past decade. They can do blood work there too, the nurse there she's wonderful. Keep up
I need to thank Dr. Chan who eventually solves my skin problem which had been vexing me for months. Thanks also to the friendly receptionist who offered me a short waiting time appointment.
