I've joined the Richmond hill studio 3 month ago. Jessica is an amazing dance instructor! Her energy, patience, and clear teaching style make every class fun and motivating. I’ve learned so much.
I registered for the level 1 salsa dancing classes at the Richmond Hill location. The instructor was fantastic as you can tell he really enjoys teaching. Really teaching you step by step, and making sure the entire class was able to follow along and go at the same pace. Very knowledgeable and breaks it down into simple moves. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are interested in learning how to dance.
Worst dance experience I have ever had. I signed myself and a friend up for their introduction to Salsa Level 1, First of all they have one medium sized room and they run TWO classes in it AT THE SAME TIME. Not only do you have 60ish people cramped in one space but the classes are different levels. Okay I could understand the same level together and two instructors per level, but they are just being cheap trying to maximize space per student. It's clear that their main priority is to make money and not teach salsa. To make it worse, you can't hear your instructor because the other instructor (who is trying to run his class) is talking over yours or has the music playing. At first I thought maybe they missed booked but when I went to the front desk and found out this is a normal thing for them my friend and I left. It's ghetto, a total waste of time and money. It's better to go on youtube and try and teach yourself... you will probably have a lot less distractions and learn more. I learnt absolutely nothing from my experience here and they wouldn't refund me. So I was stuck paying for a 7 week course and I only attended 1 class. I would not recommend this to anyone.
