Been there several times and never told the stamp collection is only for regular price; order daily special multiple times and got stamps, now told me: no, that’s company rules. However, the stamp collection card never mentioned ONLY FOR REGULAR PRICE ITMES. Very typical poker face staffs with one manager, and I asked staffs about the “policy”, they guided me to the “manager”. I don’t like the atmosphere from day 1, not like Starbucks, you can tell from their faces that staffs are happy. Or Tim Horton/ McCafe, they are busy but they try to help you as much as they can. But here, a different story. The drink is ok for me, wanted to support Chinese brand, but it failed me again.
Most striking is the reasonable price of food that Is 20-25% lower than other chains. I ordered the almond croissant and it was good although a bit on the heavy grease side. Americano was good. The atmosphere is spartan, more like Tim Horton. Waiting times are long. Order via the screen on the back wall, not from staff to reduce your waiting time. Watching the prices for temporary competitive edge during initial chain introduction phase into the market.
They didn’t seem to know what they were making or the proper measurements. I ordered a 16oz Americano with a dash of milk. The staff added 2oz milk, saying that’s their usual. The espresso machine is automatic, so I’m unsure how many shots went into the drink, but it tasted like hot water with milk and had no real coffee flavour so I can’t even rate it. Manager, please follow the correct recipe,a 16oz Americano should have at least a double shot, not a single shot with 2oz milk. *The review is only to give a review to the manager, will update it later if I try it again.
Walked into an empty shop with a friend—two staff were working but didn’t acknowledge us at all. After standing there for a few minutes, we said we were leaving, and they just stared. No apology, no effort. Really poor customer service.
I stopped by Cardi Coffee after working at Hillcrest Mall, and I’m so glad I did! Yue and their co worker Ching were absolutely wonderful—genuinely friendly, welcoming, and passionate about their coffee. I ordered a black coffee with an espresso shot, and it was brewed to perfection—rich, bold, and smooth, exactly how I like it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy great coffee. Excellent service, amazing drinks, and kind people—highly recommend!
So slow They can't fully understand English Not organized Not following my order regarding how I like my tea my order was milk tea with no ice and no Boba not only the cup was full of ice but there was lots of Boba and when I complained to the cashier said nothing Not even sorry and the label on it clearly stated no ice and no Boba which is surprising that they didn't fallow the label
Good coffee, a little heavy/creamier but overall a nice drink! They have a very wide menu with lots of coffee and tea variations for everyone. Nice atmosphere as well
