I purchased two chef jackets and a pair of pants from Chef Works online. My partner tried on both jackets, but unfortunately, they didn’t fit. I promptly placed them back in the original packaging and submitted a return merchandise authorization (RMA) request. Chef Works initially lost my request and failed to respond for several weeks. After finally reaching a customer service representative, it took several more days just to receive a return label. I shipped the items back immediately via UPS. After waiting weeks with no update, I had to follow up multiple times to get a refund. Eventually, I was told that one of the jackets was “damaged” and could not be refunded — which is completely false. Both jackets were in perfect condition, tried on for less than two minutes, and carefully repackaged. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. The return process was disorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. Based on how this was handled, I do not trust Chef Works to treat customers fairly. If you’re buying with the expectation of being able to return items that don’t fit, think twice.
Bad customer service. It took so long for me to get their response. And they have terrible return policy also customer service. Never buy from this company.

I called in and the lady was friendly and processed my order over the phone and I received it in 2 days. Large selection and gret quality. No problems. Nice and easy.
Ordered a pair of chef pants. Ended up getting a size that was a lot smaller than what I ordered. Asked if I could return it for something in my size, they instead told me I had to return it and they would refund me store credits but I’d also have to pay for shipping. Why am I paying to have their mistake fixed?
The customer service needs a drastic change. We were wanting to order custom chef coats but could not get a final proof before ordering them? So we stopped the project and didn’t get a refund. Whatever. But when I asked the sales rep for someone else to communicate with and express our displeasure, she called my cell phone to explain that nothing was going to change and it didn’t matter who I spoke with. Not a good experience and I would never recommend this company.
