This truck came to Darlington Nuclear for lunch time. I got a burger and fries. I doubt they are this expensive in other places but they hear union workers and the charge $26 for everything. No matter what you get. With tip it was $30. What did I get? A burger that was precooked (waited less than 3 mins for food). Costco fries that were cold (5 mins after getting the food) a bunch that is burnt. Mind you the burger was ok for flavor but I wouldn't buy from them again. Waste of money and feeling ripped off.
The food was great, the service on site was great. After all was said and done is when I encountered my issues. We had an agreement they would profit share, as it was a fundraiser. I was fully transparent on how many food trucks would be there, the address, the timing and the number of people. Unfortunately, we did have less people turn up than we expected. I asked the people on site about the cut we were promised and was told I had to email. This fundraiser happened early October and all follow up emails were canceled. I turned down other trucks because we made this agreement. Like I said, the food itself was great, but going back on your word ensures I will never give them my money and will ensure family and friends do not either.
The food here is absolutely amazing! But what really tugs at my heartstrings is the kindness of the two owners at the UTSC food truck. I tried paying several times but kept failing. I was so embarrassed and ready to give up when they just smiled and handed me a huge portion of fries. As an international student who just arrived, this unexpected warmth feels incredibly healing. Good people definitely deserve all the best!
We went to this place at the pickering food truck festival. If I could give 0 stars I would. It was $80 after tip. We didn't get the burger because we were told it would be 20 mins. We got chicken fingers and fries , chili cheese dog (barely any chili) and the works pouting, it was so soggy and sat for so long before we got the rest of the food. Also didn't have any ketchup for fries or napkins. Highly do not recommend.
Was confused earlier about the cost as didn’t see price clearly but owner was very attentive when I called confused about it even with menu prices online showing different and explained. But I gotta say the works poutine 10/10 delicious
Over price regular quality food, burgers are $20. they are parked at harbor front center just behind Rosie's burgers and they sell a bigger size burger for $10.
Absolute trash. Basic fries, couple pieces of shredded mozzarella cheese. $15. Wow can't believe how bad I got ripped off. I had a few pieces and then threw it out. You can't advertise poutine on your truck if you don't even use cheese curds. I felt like I got robbed from a tourist trap. I can't imagine any other way to make this poutine any more pathetic.
