Isabella at the store helped me incredibly to pick a cake for my wife's birthday as my wife is very fussy. I could eat any of their cakes I told her !!! Everything went smooth. We've ordered all kinds of cakes and sweets there and they NEVER disappoint. The display cabinet and food inside GLEAMS ! If you go in there for one thing, you will leave with more than you expect. PS I ordered the Srawberry Shortcake for 2 events now and both fantastic.
Needed candles for the cake I bought from here. They didn’t have complimentary candles. Turns out the candle is almost as expensive as the actual cake… are you kidding me…. Keep in mind this $16 candle is the cheapest option
I went to La rocca richmondhill pastry shop yesterday. The customer service by Isabelle was top notch , She was very attentive, curteous and knowledgeable . It was my daughters birthday that I was shopping for. The service I got from her went beyond to ensure that I have a wonderful time . I wish I could give 6 stars .
I bought 3 slices of cake, but the female staff member charged me for 5. She was also quite unfriendly during the checkout. I brought it to a dinner invitation, but it wasn’t popular at all.
Update: I reached out to the store, and they handled the situation professionally. I visited the store and received a full refund — appreciate their prompt resolution. We bought a Banana Chocolate Cake for a birthday celebration, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The cake itself was not good at all — the texture was spongy and soggy, and the chocolate flavor tasted low-quality and unpleasant. There was also a sour taste, which made us question its freshness. Overall, the taste was very bad. The price/quality ratio was terrible — it was definitely not worth the money. After this experience, we don’t plan to order from here again.
Amazing cakes and pastries! Beautiful and fresh. Macaroons are delicious! I like that they have options like gluten free cakes. I ordered a bday cake and it was so delicious! Strawberry shortcake was perfect.
Martin (Marty) Givens is a legend! He's the OG owner of La Rocca cakes! Marty created every single cake that you see from La Rocca starting from SCRATCH! Ive tried them all, all of them are amazing. La Rocca cakes are the best of the best and anyone who says otherwise knows absolutely nothing about cakes.
