Awful price gouging and portions! Paid 25 for the slimmest lambshank ive ever seen, came with a mountain of salad and rice. Additional ayran cost FIVE DOLLARS that should tell you everything if you are a fan of middle/near eastern food hahaha. The quality is decent but the price is abysmal. Leave this one for the rich cakers who don't know any better. Probably Indian owned not even Afghan.
We had a wonderful experience at Caravan Kabob in Richmond Hill! We ordered the family platter, which came with a delicious whole chicken, 2 juicy chapli kebabs, 4 fresh naan, hummus, crispy fries, and a generous salad. To our surprise, they also gave us complimentary firni for dessert — such a thoughtful touch! They weren’t frugal with the sauces either, and everything was packed with flavor. The customer service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy, welcoming, and very clean. Definitely recommend for a family meal or group gathering. We’ll be back!
My go-to takeout spot! The Caravan special specifically. Great food, great value, big portion…can’t go wrong for under $20. Bet it’s even better eat in. Gotta do that soon!

Finally another great place to eat in Oak Ridges!! The service is great, and the food was so delicious we ordered it twice in one week!! All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. Chicken breast dinner, chicken tandoori dinner and the chicken chaplee dinner. Great portions and fantastic flavours. Also very happy they don’t charge for the sauces like other places near us do. I’ve been telling everyone I can about this new find. Keep up the great work! Now my mouth is watering and I want to order again :D
Carvan restaurant offers a serene and well-maintained ambiance. We appreciated the courteous staff and found the food enjoyable, despite it being slightly oily. The wait time for food was standard, and the pricing was fair for the quality. Overall, it provided a casual dining experience.
I had heard good things about this place, just ordered a variety of kabobs today and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed! All the bbq meat was burned and dried up.
